How and where your food is stored makes a big impact on what you eat. Consider the candy jar on the counter that catches your eye as well as the bundle of spoiled vegetables because you never got around to preparing them. Spring clean your diet with these easy steps:

  1. Give your fridge a mini makeover. Throw away old, spoiled, or untouched items. Wipe up any spills and put a box of opened baking soda in the corner to keep it smelling fresh.
  2. Do the same to your pantry, without the baking soda!
  3. Reconsider your grocery shopping habits. Take inventory of what’s been thrown out and consider where your grocery shopping habits need revision. Maybe purchasing prepared vegetables will ensure you get to enjoy them or maybe it’s time to swap out what’s being stored in the canisters on your kitchen counter. Whatever you choose, start with one change and build from there!
