Hi, my name is Katie.

When I was overweight, I never had any ambition to do anything. I always wanted to eat and just sit around. I knew I needed to make a change, both for me and for the people around me. I didn’t want to be the girl that was hiding under baggy clothes or wouldn’t go out and do things because she didn’t think she was pretty enough.

In June 2012, after weighing myself and seeing the number at 220, I knew things needed to change and that the only person who could make a change was me.

I went to Complete Nutrition® in Cedar Falls, IA and I walked in the store with confidence knowing that day was going to be the last day I weighed 220 lbs. I started working out daily and changed my eating habits. I cut my portion sizes down, started eating a lot of protein, and stopped going out to eat so much. I quit eating main meals after 7pm. Instead of going for seconds I would eat a fistful of each serving. I started making my own food at home and started to eat more grilled food then breaded or fried. My work out plan consisted of getting up in morning and doing an hour of cardio: bike rides, walking, or running. In the evenings I would do another half an hour of cardio and some lifting. I began taking the AM/PM ReFirm and Tone. Those pills really helped me burn fat and shrink inches!

I work out in the morning and I do more lifting in the evening. I watch what I eat now, and I have learned to cook healthy food for myself.
